A series of impact fuel tank experiments are carried out through the ballistic method. The ignition abilities Bi2O3-reinforced PTFE/Al reactive material, metal aluminum, and inert steel compared analyzed, mode kerosene is explored when PTFE/Al/Bi2O3 impacts at different velocities. results offer that material has outstanding ability, order for ability steel. content a significant on effect. effect impacting filled with 50% weaker than full tank. Under velocities, materials display diverse modes kerosene: directly ignited by flame in reverse reaction zone under low-velocity conditions, while high-temperature-activated fragments heat source high-velocity conditions.
